EMC Conducts Baseline Information Collection in the vicinity of the Kanuku Mountains

A team from  Environmental Management Consultants (EMC Inc.) spent several days in February conducting baseline information collection in the vicinity of the Kanuku Mountains, in the Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo Region. Areas covered include physical, biological, and socio-economic data collection.

The exercise was part of a process to support environmental management planning for a renewable energy project earmarked for the area.
