EMC Celebrates Earth Hour 2024

On March 23, 2024, EMC took part in Earth Hour celebrations held at the Botanical Gardens. The event was organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) under the overarching theme of “sustainability” and encouraged persons to “Give an Hour for Earth.”

At Earth Hour, the EMC booth showcased the company’s contribution to sustainable development in Guyana through publications, videos, and presentations. Interactive games engaged visitors, who stood a chance to win EMC publications.

Earth Hour provided an excellent opportunity for the EMC team to engage with nature enthusiasts, share insights into their work, and inspire collective action towards environmental preservation.
