MR. TENI HOUSTY

Mr. Teni Housty is an Environmental Law Specialist with over twenty (20) years’ experience. Mr. Housty’s academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. Mr. Housty specializes in environmental, intellectual property, human rights, cyber, telecommunications and communications law. He has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the legal, regulatory and policy issues surrounding Disaster Risk Management and of the methods of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations.

As Senior Partner at Fraser, Housty & Yearwood Attorney-at-Law, he has extensive experience in both traditional and emerging fields of law, has completed several projects and engagements for a wide cross-section of clients including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and other International Development Partners (IDPs) (UNDP & UNEP), private and public sector agencies (the Environmental Protection Agency among them), as well as Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
