ANDREW BISHOP

Mr. Andrew Bishop holds a Master of Arts (Geography/Regional Development from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelors of Arts (Geography; Economics minor) from York University.

Mr. Bishop has accumulated over thirty (30) years of experience and has been actively involved in the area of land planning and management and climate change. Mr. Bishop served as Adviser to the President and Lead Climate Change Negotiator to the UNFCCC. He previously held the portfolio of Commissioner of the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission where he was responsible for public land management, land policy and national land use planning and spearheaded Guyana’s national land use policy and plan.
