EMC Hosts Rangoli Competition for Diwali Celebrations

On October 30, 2024, EMC hosted a vibrant Rangoli competition as part of its Diwali celebrations. The EMC Foundation and Technical Team, Admin Team, and Marine Team competed for the top prize in a creative display of artistry.

Using coloured rice, each team crafted intricate rangolis that told stories of Diwali and its religious significance. The designs reflected the essence of the festival, from the triumph of light over darkness to the celebration of good over evil. The rangolis were judged on creativity, technique, theme representation, team collaboration, overall presentation, and attire.

After a spirited competition, the judges declared the EMC Foundation and Technical Team and the Admin Team as tied winners, both teams impressing with their stunning designs and thoughtful storytelling through their artwork.

The event was a wonderful celebration of culture, creativity, and teamwork, as it brought the EMC staff together to honour the significance of Diwali. It provided an opportunity for everyone to showcase their artistic talents, embrace the festive spirit, and reflect on the values of the festival, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose within the team.
