Manufacturing

The manufacturing sector in Guyana continues to grow and expand. EMC has been working with small, medium and large-scale operations. EMC’s experience include:

• Conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment for a cement bagging facility in the Demerara area.
• Prepared Environmental Management Plans for food manufacturing companies, a major alcohol distillery, readymix concrete and cement block manufacturing operation in the Demerara area.
• Currently providing environmental compliance support to several food manufacturing companies in the Demerara area.

EMC is a member of the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) and its Managing Director, Mr. Shyam Nokta served two terms as President of the Association.
