EMC PROVIDES TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE ALIGNING OF GUYANA’S NATIONAL ACTION PLAN TO THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION TO COMBAT DESERTIFICATION’S 10 YEAR STRATEGY (2008-2018)

Environmental Management Consultants (EMC) has provided technical support to the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission, the National Focal Point to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) for the aligning of Guyana’s National Action Programme (NAP) to the UNCCD 10-Year Strategy.

The aligning process included a Rapid Stocktaking Activity on NAP implementation; formal training on the use of indicators for NAP Alignment and Implementation; and developing a framework of the Aligned NAP.
